The most important criterion for a movement to be short listed at Habring² is reliability.

Famous for that are the well-known calibres as well as single components of the ETA SA in Grenchen/Switzerland. Based on those movements or designs Habring² accomplishes more development and decoration work. Each Habring² receives an escpement in chronometer-quality matched with a Triovis-regulation. All Habring² movements are corresponding to current chronometer-norm, regulated in the own atelier and are certainly as well shock-proofed.

Necessary modifications – for example the preparation for and the integration of the mechanism of the jumping second – are made exclusively in the own atelier. But also specific parts like the components for the in-house developed Tourbillons, are produced manually.

The decoration of the movements with decorative ribbings, for example "Perlage", "Sunburst" or "Geneva stripes", is made with the help of manually operated machines. Steel parts like gears or springs as well as very small screws are polished manually.

Besides movements on ETA-base Habring² also uses brand-new antique movement-specialities for individual series : among others the automatic-movements from Felsa (calibre 690 and 760), clockworks with jumping second from Chézard (calibre 116) and movements for chronographs from Valjoux (calibre 7733, 7734 and 7737).
